Everwick and EverwickReviews

EverwickReviews.com is an independent site that explains what Everwick, a tool for making educated long-term decisions, actually does. No affiliation with the developer. No sponsored content.

What is Everwick?

Everwick is a decision-support tool built as a mobile-first web application. It helps users think through long-term goals by modeling their portfolio across multiple account types, run long-term retirement simulations, and plan tax optimization strategies.

Unlike most planning tools, Everwick has no backend, no user accounts, and no data sent to any server. Your portfolio data — including real balances — stays in your browser’s local storage on your own device.

It is built on React with Vite, tested with 306 unit tests across the core financial logic, and is in pre-launch (v0.1). The simulation engine, tax rules, and portfolio taxonomy are all independently verifiable.

Portfolio Simulation Engine

Multi-decade projection engine with configurable growth rate profiles. Handles sequence-of-returns risk, not just fixed-rate assumptions.

Tax Planning

Models income brackets, standard deductions, capital gains treatment, and Roth conversion ladder scenarios.

Complete Account Taxonomy

401k, Roth 401k, Traditional IRA, Roth IRA, HSA, 529, and taxable brokerage — with correct contribution limits and distribution rules.

Asset Allocation Tools

Granular asset type taxonomy supports ETFs, individual equities, bonds, and real estate. Simplifies allocation contributions by size.

Fully Local, No Backend

All data lives in your browser's localStorage. No accounts, no servers, no data sharing. Your real balances stay on your device.

Free Tier

The free tier runs complete simulations for a standard portfolio. Premium unlocks higher portfolio counts and additional scenario depths.

Why this site exists

EverwickReviews was started to give people a plain-language explanation of what Everwick does — not the developer’s own marketing copy.

Everwick is capable, but no tool is perfect for everyone. Our goal is to lay out what it does, what it doesn’t do, and what kind of user it fits best, so you can decide for yourself.

We are not affiliated with the Everwick developer in any way. We do not accept advertising from Everwick or its competitors.

Transparent

We explain exactly what the app does, with no fabricated claims.

Independent

No affiliate deals, no sponsored posts, no paid placements — ever.

Plain language

Written for people new to long-term financial planning.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is EverwickReviews affiliated with the Everwick developer?

No. EverwickReviews.com is an independent site with no financial or organizational relationship with the developer.

What does the Everwick app actually do?

Everwick is a long-term decision-support tool. It lets you model your portfolio across multiple account types (401k, Roth IRA, taxable brokerage, etc.), run long-term projection simulations with configurable growth rates, and understand tax implications. All data is stored locally — there are no accounts and no data sent to any server.

Is Everwick free?

Yes, with a free tier. The free version runs full portfolio simulations for a standard number of accounts and scenarios. A paid tier (entitlements system) unlocks higher portfolio counts and additional planning features.

Is Everwick available on iOS and Android?

Everwick is a mobile-first React web application, not a native app store app. It runs in any modern mobile browser and is designed around a ~480px mobile viewport. You can add it to your home screen as a PWA-style web app.

Where can I get the app or see the source code?

The Everwick source code is public on GitHub. Use the link on this page or in the site footer.
